BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Just do it Peru wants you to enjoy your holiday of a lifetime with complete success. Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking set out below prior to booking a trip

.1. The contract

Just do it (we/us) and the Client, which includes all persons mentioned on the booking form, enter into a contract. The person signing the booking form certifies that he/she has full power on behalf of all the people whose names appear on it and acknowledges that all of these people are fully aware of and accept these terms.

2. Prices & surcharges

Muyundi Travel reserves the right to increase the tour price to account for the following items: government action, currency fluctuations, transportation costs (including the cost of fuel), food increases, airport charges, and increases in scheduled air fares, as well as any other increase that is beyond our control. All pricing is in US Dollars.

If the price of the package increases, Muyundi Travel will absorb the increase only if it is less than 4% of the entire package price. If the increase is greater than 4%, the client will be charged 100% of the difference between the original and new prices.

3. Deposit requirement to confirm a booking

  • ● To confirm a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total price package per person is required ($200 per person is non-refundable).

  • ● To secure spots, all flights (local and international) must be paid in full in advance.

  • ● Depending on the boat, cruise bookings are subject to different deposit regulations.

  • ● If you book 60 days or less before your departure date, you must pay in full.

4. Full payment and reconfirm of booking

  • ● Full payment or the balance of payment is due 60 - 45 days prior to the trip departure date.

  • ● We will send you an email confirming your booking as soon as we receive complete payment.

  • ● If booking is made 60 days or less prior to departure, full payment is due.

  • ● If full payment or the balance of payment is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as canceled.

5. Cancellation by the client

Any cancellation by a Client must be notified in writing and acknowledged in writing by Muyundi Travel. The cancellation fees will be determined by the date Muyundi Travel or its Travel Consultants receive the request to cancel.

  • a) 70 days or more days prior to departure, non-refundable $ 200 per person as administrative expenses.

  • b) 69-31 days; we will retain - 40% of the trip cost.

  • c) 30-16 days; we will retain - 70% of the trip cost.

  • d) 15 days or less; we will retain - 100% of the trip cost.

Special Notes

  • 1. Due to airline policy, payments or deposits for flight bookings are non-refundable.

  • 2. If the trip is postponed, an administration fee of 20% of the trip price, plus the amount already spent on non-refundable subcontracted services, will be charge. The remaining funds may be applied to future Muyundi Travel travel.

  • 3. There will be no refund if you leave a trip willingly after it has begun for whatever reason. Muyundi Travel reserves the right to issue refunds if you are forced to leave a trip for any reason. There will be no refunds for unused accommodations, transportation, excursions, meals, or services.

  • 4. It is strongly advised to obtain full insurance, which includes protection against deposit or cancellation charges in certain cases

6. Client personal information

  • ● In order for Muyundi Travel to confirm and guarantee the Client’s travel arrangements the Client must provide all Client Details with their full payment.

  • ● If the Client does not provide all details 60 days or more before departure, an Administrative Fee will be charged to the Client.

  • ● In the event that client details have not been received by Muyundi Travel 30 days prior to the Client’s trip departure, Muyundi Travel reserves the right to treat the file as canceled and full cancellation fees will apply. Client Details required will vary tour by tour and will be advised during the booking process. However, at a minimum Client Details include passport number, passport expiry date, full name as it appears in the passport you are traveling with, date of birth, place of birth, nationality, and arrival details (or other documents as requested by Muyundi Travel). A booking may not be confirmed without the provision of Client Details.

7. Cancellations and changes by Muyundi Travel

  • a) While Muyundi Travel will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, by entering into this contract the Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a tour itinerary or its contents due to prevailing local conditions.

  • b) Due to unforeseen and unusual circumstances beyond the company's control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had to be exercised. The company will do its best to minimize the effects of matters outside its control, but cannot accept any liability for these matters which include political disputes, border closures, refusals of visas, industrial action, delayed flights, unforeseeable climate, strikes, war, civil disturbances, natural disasters, government actions, mechanical failures or any acts of God, among others. Muyundi Travel reserves the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, services, or prices (including flights, accommodation, or other arrangements) and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value and no monetary compensation or money refund; and accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. The client agrees to assume all extra costs derived from any of these factors.

  • c) We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights.

8. Payment methodsa) Credit Card

We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Diners Club through this payment method we do not charge any commission.

b) Wire Transfer

You can directly transfer funds from your own banking account to our banking account. There is a US$ 50 admin fee attached to this account that you need to add to the amount you are sending. We will send you details of our account upon your confirmation of the trip. Duration of taken to receive transfer: 1 day to 3 days dependent on where you are sending from.

9. Changes by the client

  • a) For any change by the client to the itinerary after receiving a confirmed Travel Invoice from Muyundi Travel, a US$ 50 changing fee will be charged plus any costs or charges which are incurred or levied by our suppliers as a result of the amendment. While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate changes and additional requests, their availability cannot be guaranteed.

  • b) Any change made by the Client must be done within 45 labor days before the trip departure, if not, Muyundi Travel will reserve the right to accept or decline the modifications suggested according to the availability of the tourists’ companies: lodgings, tour operators, and transport.

  • c) The changes in reservations made 44 labor days before the trip departure, will not be accepted.

  • d) Any changes to the original booking must be confirmed by the person signing the booking form.

10. Substitution of client

If any member of your party is prevented from traveling, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person, provided that written notice is given at least 45 days prior to departure. An administration fee of US$ 50 will be levied plus any costs imposed by Muyundi Travel suppliers.

For Inca Trail changing any information such as dates, name, and passport number is not possible after a permit has been processed. A permit is non-transferable/ nor refundable. The deposit will be forfeited. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited to re-sell your permit after you have canceled.

11. Medical conditions and special requirements

The Client must notify Muyundi Travel in writing during the process of booking any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability, or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect fitness to travel and or any medical condition. Failure to notify Muyundi Travel may result in the Client being refused travel. Failure to notify Muyundi Travel of any such condition that results in cancellation will result in full cancellation fees to the Client. Some trips may be unsuitable for Clients due to age, mobility, disability, pregnancy, or physical or mental conditions. It is the Client’s responsibility to check prior to booking. Muyundi Travel may refuse to carry pregnant women over 24 weeks or Clients with certain conditions. Muyundi Travel is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing. Muyundi Travel will do its best to meet Clients' special requests including dietary, but such requests do not form part of the Contract and therefore Muyundi Travel is not liable for not providing these requests. Medical facilities vary from country to country and Muyundi Travel makes no representations and gives no warranties in relation to the standard of such treatment.

Traveling with ChildrenClients who are 18 at the time of their first trip are considered adults. Every two youngsters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The adult-to-child ratio must be one adult for every two children and two adults for every four youngsters (17 and under). The minimum age for clients traveling on excursions is 12 (for Family approved tours, the minimum age is 5). All enquiries regarding children are subject to inspection and approval by Muyundi Travel, which retains the right to limit the number of travelers under the age of 18 on excursions.

12. Passport, visa, and vaccinations

It is the Client's responsibility to have a valid passport and to have it with them throughout their journey to demonstrate in the needed control places by the destination of visit, visa permits, inoculations, and preventive medicines as may be required for the duration of the tour. Muyundi Travel provides information on these or related topics in good faith but without responsibility.

13. Age, fitness, and participation

  • a) All Clients are expected to satisfy themselves prior to booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their choosing. Persons over 60 years of age will be advised to obtain medical evidence of fitness to travel on the chosen itinerary.

  • b) No unaccompanied minors (those under 18 years of age) can be accepted on tours operated by Muyundi Travel; however, older teenagers may be considered provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility for them.

  • c) Muyundi Travel reserves the absolute right to decline a booking at their discretion. Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of Muyundi Travels' employees, tour leaders, and Travel Consultants, while on the tour with Muyundi Travel.

  • d) If in the opinion of such person the health or conduct of a Client before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable, or happy progress of a tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour. In case of ill health, Muyundi Travel may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the Client.

14. Local laws

All participants in Muyundi Travel trips are expected to follow the laws and rules of the countries visited, and failing to do so will release Muyundi Travel from all duties that they may otherwise have under these booking conditions.

15. Illness or disability

Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment that may be required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeit. If the chosen holiday includes an excursion or transfer by boat of any sort the Client must make it known at the time of booking if he/she is unable to swim. This will not prevent the Client from participating in the tour but will enable Muyundi Travel to take additional precautions for the Client’s safety at such times as may be appropriate.

16. Travel Insurance

It is necessary to have a Travel Insurance. Muyundi Travel strongly recommends having Travel Insurance for all our travelers. Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US$ 100,000 for each of the heads of cover. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage, and personal effects.

You must provide proof of your travel insurance 15 days before trip departure.Special Note

If you do not believe it is required or do not require travel insurance, you must sign an affidavit saying that you do not require travel insurance and that you will be liable if any inconvenience occurs during the trip.

17. Flight bookings

  • a) Muyundi Travel will use its best endeavors to ensure that all flight prices are correct at the time that they are quoted. Airlines reserve the right to amend or withdraw fares without prior notice. Once a deposit is paid on airfare, it guarantees that a booking is being held for you, it DOES NOT GUARANTEE the fare.

  • b) The fare can only be guaranteed when the flight booking has been paid for in full and a ticket has been issued.

  • c) Flight bookings cannot be transferred. The flight times given by Muyundi Travel are for general guidance only and are subject to change. Up-to-date flight times will be shown on the tickets.

    • d) The Client must check the tickets very carefully immediately upon receipt of the latest timings. Muyundi Travel will endeavor to inform the Client as soon as possible in the event of any flight alteration.

  • e) Details of airlines are also subject to change. Such alterations do not constitute a significant change to the trip arrangements and will therefore not be entitled to cancel without paying the normal charges as a result.

  • f) Muyundi Travel cannot be held responsible for any delay to your flight whether this delay is caused by adverse weather conditions, the action of air traffic controllers, airport authorities or (local) governments, the rescheduling of flight times by the airline, mechanical breakdown, strike, industrial action or any other reason.

18. Clients responsibility

  • a) While on tour with Muyundi Travel, clients agree to respect the authority and judgments of Muyundi Travel's personnel, tour leaders, and Travel Consultants. If, in the view of such personnel, a client's health or behavior at any point before or after departure appears likely to jeopardize the safety, comfort, or happy progress of a trip, the client may be barred from participating in all or part of the tour.

  • b) In the event of illness, Muyundi Travel may make appropriate arrangements and recoup the costs from the customer. If a client commits an illegal behavior, he or she may be ejected from the tour, and Muyundi Travel will no longer be liable to/for them. If you have a medical or other condition that may interfere with other people's enjoyment or active participation in the tour, you must notify us at the time of booking.

  • c) No refunds will be issued for unused services. Clients must have a valid passport to exhibit in the control points where they will travel, and they are responsible for arranging a valid passport, visa, and any vaccination certificates required for the duration of their journey. Information about these or related topics (temperature, clothing, baggage, etc.) is provided in good faith, but Muyundi Travel cannot be held liable for any of it.

19. Muyundi Travel Tours' responsibility

  • a) Muyundi Travel organizes by order and account our travelers, with their names, transportation, accommodation, and other tourist services required, so we are not responsible in case of accidents, loss of personal belonging effects during the outsourcing of services such as: during the services of the Tour Guide, on the bus, in the hotels, in the restaurants, during hiking, in the camping, and so on.

  • b) Muyundi Travel is not liable for sickness, maternity, or physical or mental impairments that may jeopardize the traveler's or third parties' health or integrity during the tour. We shall not accept any claim or reimbursement for the reasons stated above.

  • c) Muyundi Travel will not pay compensation if you are forced to cancel or change your tour due to war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health risks, technical or maintenance problems with transportation, closed or congested airports or ports, changes imposed by airline re-scheduling or cancellation, airline or aircraft type changes, or similar events beyond our control.

  • d) Muyundi Travel will not accept responsibility for changes in flight schedule or departure airport, as this is the responsibility of the airline. However, we will Endeavour to minimize their effects on your journey. We cannot accept liability for any delays in any of your flights, whether the cancellation or delay is caused by adverse weather conditions, rescheduling of the airline, airport authority and/or action by air traffic controllers, mechanical breakdown or industrial action. Where long flight delays result in lost holiday time, no refunds are given by hotels or suppliers. Similarly, airlines do not offer compensation for flight delays. However, at their discretion, carriers will Endeavour to reduce the inconvenience of any delay by providing meals and accommodation, as appropriate for the time of day or night (dependent on local availability). If you incur payments for such services in the event of a delay.

  • e) Muyundi Travel shall not accept payment liability unless we have given our prior consent. We ask that you notify us of any limitations of this sort prior to the engagement of our services, so that we might offer specific services that take into account the existing barriers.

20. If the client has a complaint?

If the Client has a complaint about any of the tour arrangements, he/she must bring it to the notice of the tour leader or another Muyundi Travel employee at the time so that they can use their best efforts to correct the matter. Only if Muyundi Travel is made aware of any concerns will it have an opportunity to make things right. Complaining to Muyundi Travel as soon as an issue emerges during your vacation will allow us to repair the situation or facilitate reimbursement. If the problem is not resolved, a written complaint must be submitted to Muyundi Travel within 28 days after the holiday's completion. 21. Financial security

Muyundi Travel is a Tourism Ministry Accredited travel agency in Peru and it is a licensed Tour Operator by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade (DIRCETUR) requires full indemnity insurance and full bonding to comply with all laws regarding the international travel business. Our company registration number (RUC) is 20606352329.

We are a Peruvian tour operator with a Peruvian office, a company authorized and licensed as a tour operator by the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism under the name Muyundi Travel SAC; we do not own any vehicles, lodges, hotels, restaurants, or other similar establishments. Instead, based on our 13 years of expertise, we carefully pick the local operators and facilities in Lima, Arequipa, Puno, Ica, Amazon, Trujillo, etc., with whom we wish to work and on whom we can rely.

22. Photography and testimonials

If we secure or take any images of you during the trip, we have the right to use them in our advertising campaigns for free. This includes slideshows, video shows, pamphlets, and the Internet. If you have provided us with written comments, that can also be utilized for promotional purposes.

23. Privacy policy

The company will make all travel arrangements using the personal information you submit. As a result, we will have to pass it on to our suppliers and carriers so that the services you have requested may be provided. However, we will make every effort to safeguard your information and use it only for official purposes that are absolutely essential.

I have taken ample time to read the Booking Terms and Conditions. I have fully understood all the clauses and I provide my complete consent to all of them.
